The salt shack is a seaside beach restaurant
with outstanding views, live entertainment, and excellent food. Most beach restaurants serve up greasy
overpriced hamburgers and the like, but Salt Shack is a welcome exception. The menu offers up all the traditional beach
food and then some. Salt Shack also
includes a good selection for kids and platters to share at a table. The drink and cocktail list are long and
quite good again at a fair price. The
event calendar is pack full of live music almost every day. Parking is free after 5:00 PM (this is a town
beach). Today Jo had the Bacon cheeseburger
and I, a large Grilled chicken Caesar Salad. The cheeseburger arrived nestled on a soft bun
and not the least bit soggy with lettuce, tomato. The Grilled Chicken Caesar was a massive bowl
of fresh, crisp romaine lettuce topped with a perfectly grilled whole chicken
Breast. The dressing was stock but rich,
tangy, creamy, and very flavorful.
Drinks consisted of Margaritas which were tangy with a good hit of Tequila. Overall a delicious seaside meal for two and
under thirty bucks.
